The Deputy Director General for Research and Studies oversees the following:
1.The Secretariat Department
This department reports to the Deputy Director General and handles all administrative secretarial tasks, including:
- Receiving incoming correspondence and registering it in designated records.
- Presenting correspondence to the Director General for distribution to relevant departments.
- Receiving outgoing correspondence, ensuring all attachments are complete, stamping, and dispatching them to the concerned entities.
- Providing printing and copying services for the Deputy Director General.
- Processing all transactions and correspondence within the sector.
- Following up on administrative decisions issued by the Deputy Director General.
- Organizing and maintaining files and records related to the sector’s operations, ensuring proper documentation and circulation rules.
- Assessing the sector’s needs for office supplies, stationery, and necessary equipment and coordinating procurement with the relevant authority.
- Distributing decisions, bulletins, and circulars to the sector’s administration.
2.The following departments:
- Department of Quranic Studies and Sciences
- Department of Hadith Studies and Sciences
- Department of Cultural Media for the Quran and Sunnah
